Christmas in India         

        Only a few weeks into our business, December was a great month for Rooted. Thanks to all of our amazing customers, we were able to team up with our friend Mario in India. We met Mario a number of year’s ago on a trip to India, we have since gotten to know Mario very well. He is an amazing young man with a heart to serve his community. The last few year’s Mario has collected support from friends to bless those in greatest need within his community for the Christmas season. So when Mario texted us a couple weeks before Christmas with this special request, it was clear God was highlighting what the Rooted Impact would be for December! 

          With the 10% of sales we sent to Mario for December’s earnings, Rooted Customers were able to provide 4 families in need with a full month’s supply of food! WOW! One of the families we were able to support was Reshma (recently abandoned by her husband) and her sweet 9 month old baby Ria. Reshma is being treated for an ailment, and as a result is not able to nurse Ria. Beyond that she can’t afford the formula for Ria. Mario was able to arrange that Ria get the milk she need for a full month (Stay Tuned for a Ria Update in January). 

         Finally,  if that wasn’t enough, Mario and the Rooted community put smiles on 25 kid’s faces with special Christmas gifts they wouldn’t have otherwise received. We are so blessed to see the beautiful impact our Good For Others commitment is making! Thanks for making it all possible.
