Shipping questions
How many days does it take to fulfill the products before you ship them?
All our products are handcrafted in small batches. It takes us 1 to 3 business days to create and fulfill orders before they are shipped!
Can I track the shipping of my products?
If you experience any delivery issues, please contact the shipping carrier directly using your tracking number. If your package included insurance, you may be eligible for coverage through the carrier. Please note:Â we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered.
What are your shipping rates & delivery estimates?
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your location & selected shipping method. Delivery times may vary based on location, carrier delays, & holidays.
I typed in the wrong shipping address, what do I do?
Please immediately email us at support@rootedforgood.com with your order number &correct shipping address. If the order has not been processed we may be able to make an adjustment. However, we are unable to modify addresses once an order has been processed. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer is responsible for additional shipping fees.
An item was left out of my package, what are the next steps?
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please email us at support@rootedforgood.com within 5 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
What if my package is lost or marked as delivered but I didn’t receive it?
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered. If you experience any issues with delivery, please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number.

Are your products gluten free?
Yes. We never use ingredients that contain gluten.
Are essential oils used in all of your products?
Yes! All of our products are made with pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. Each blend is carefully formulated with varying amounts depending on the recipe. For example, our Rewind Face & Eye Serum & Relief - Ache & Pain Roll-On Blend each contain the highest concentration per milliliter - yet they're still pre-diluted & ready to use!
Are Rooted products vegan friendly?
Yes! All our products are vegan with exception to our Renew Face & Body Cream which contains beeswax.
What is the shelf life of your preservative-free products?
Because our products are all-natural & free from synthetic preservatives, we recommend using all Rooted skincare products within 12 months of opening. (This excludes our undiluted essential oils, which have a longer shelf life.)
Are your products made with organic ingredients?
Not certified organic - but they are crafted with natural & organic ingredients sourced from trusted, high-quality suppliers. We’re committed to using only the best, even without the official certification.
Do any of your facial products contain coconut oil?
Most of our facial products are coconut oil–free. However, our Face Washes contain a small amount, & our Revitalize Sugar Scrub includes a generous amount of organic coconut oil. If you have a coconut sensitivity, we recommend avoiding these two products.
Do any of your products contain sunscreen?
We don’t currently make products with sunscreen, but it’s something we’re exploring! Our email subscribers will be the first to know when we do - stay tuned!
Do your products contain preservatives, parabens, or formaldehyde? Are they tested on animals?
Nope! We believe in clean, conscious skincare you can trust. Our products are always:

Can your essential oils be taken internally?
No, we never recommend ingesting essential oils. They are extremely concentrated & can irritate or disrupt your digestive system & microbiome. For safe use, we suggest applying them topically (when properly diluted) or enjoying them aromatically through diffusers or inhalation.
Are all of your essential oils Therapeutic Grade?
"Therapeutic Grade" refers to essential oils that are pure, unadulterated, & sourced with care. While it's not a regulated term, high-quality therapeutic oils are typically:
- Steam distilled or cold-pressed without chemicals
- Free from additives, fillers, or synthetic ingredients
- Sourced from plants grown in their natural habitat
- Third-party tested for purity and potency

REFUND & RETURN questions
My package arrived damaged, what do I do?
While all sales are final, we do understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, we’re happy to assist you with a refund or exchange.
If you receive a damaged item, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We may request a photo of the damage to help us assess the situation & process your refund quickly. In some cases, we might ask for the return of the original item before issuing a refund or replacement. Please email us at support@rootedforgood.com
Is a skin reaction covered under your refund policy?
Your safety & satisfaction are incredibly important to us. While our products are made with natural, high-quality ingredients, everyone’s skin is unique and may react differently. If you experience a skin reaction, please discontinue use immediately & contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
We’re happy to offer a one-time store credit for the product that caused a reaction. To help us better understand the issue, we may ask for photos & details about your experience.
